RESIDENCY APPLICATION (CLOSED)
Application Process:
Step 1: Initial Application
- Complete the form with the required information and submit it.
Step 2: Portfolio Submission
- Prepare a portfolio that showcases your creative work. You can include images, written pieces, or other relevant materials that represent your artistic background and interests.
- Submit your portfolio via a shared Google Drive folder titled, “Residency Program Portfolio – [Your Name].”
Step 3: Personal Statement
- Craft a personal statement that explains your interest in the Legacy Arts & Culture Travel Residency Program and outlines your goals for your time at Haatso House.
- Your statement should be no more than 1000 words and reflect your passion for art, culture, and exploration.
- After submitting the application form, you will receive a confirmation email.
Step 4: Review and Confirmation
- Our selection committee will review all applications and portfolios.
- If selected, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance into the program, along with details about available residency dates and further steps.
Application Requirements:
- Contact Information: Provide your full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address for communication purposes.
- Residency Duration Preference: Indicate your preferred residency duration, choosing from short-term escapes (1-4 weeks) or extended immersions (1-6 months).
- Portfolio: Submit a portfolio that showcases your creative work. This could include visual art, written pieces, photography, or any other relevant creative projects. Ensure that your portfolio accurately represents your artistic background and interests.
- Personal Statement: Craft a personal statement (1000 words or less) that explains why you’re interested in the program, what you hope to achieve during your residency, and how the cultural and creative environment at Haatso House aligns with your artistic journey.
